I wanted to wait at least a month before writing a formal review of the new Mova Z60 Ultra Roller Complete, so I could ensure proper operation and witness multiple cleaning cycles.
This is the first product I've ever owned from Mova. I've heard great things about their new products, and so I ordered their newest robovac in their lineup just a few days after its release in September. I wanted to invest in something that would actually deep clean my floors, and be as automated and hands-off as possible.
Everything arrived as it should. Straight away, I was impressed at everything that comes with the package. When you order this product, they send you with extra supplies that will keep the robot going for at least several months, if not longer. This includes extra filters, mop rollers, side brushes, and two full bottles of cleaning solution. That makes it incredibly valuable for the price you are paying for the product.
After running it on daily cleaning cycles for the past month, I will summarize my observations:
-It cleans VERY, very well, both from a mopping & vacuum perspective. The high suction power and dual brush rollers deep cleans carpet and gets messes off hardwood floors with ease. I have both floor types in my home.
-The new mop roller design really makes a difference. I've seen other robots with the older spinning, circular mop pads do a decent job, but this levels up the cleaning majorly. Wet stains in particular are cleaned up much better with this new design. It is superior in almost every way.
-It is loaded with features. You'll be amazed at how much you can customize with the app. You can have it set to where the robot figures everything out, or have full control.
-Mapping is very quick. I was very impressed by that. You can immediately edit the map right after it finishes.
-The only "hiccup" I really had with this thing, which wasn't a fault of the robot itself... was that it was over-sudsing duringthe first few mopping runs. What I found is that the detergent is highly, highly concentrated. I have a water softener, and my water is a little "too soft" for the amount of detergent it was using at first. My workaround (with the help of customer support) was to only select detergent to be used when washing the mop roller, and to have the option turned off for mopping with detergent. That way it still uses detergent on the floor, but less of an amount which reduces sudsing. If you have soft water, you might want to keep an eye on this. Otherwise, you probably wont have any troubles.
-Customer support was very responsive and helpful with the minor issue, mentioned above. A great customer support team goes a long way!
All to say, I'm pleased with my purchase, and I'm excited to keep using this product every day in my home!
